The STRATOS DR is a complete device that in addition to routine exams for osteoporosis diagnosis (hip, spine, forearm), provides a wide range of applications (Opropedics, Pediatrics, Lateral Spine).

3D-DXA is a breakthrough technology that uses routine BMD images to modelize a 3D image of the femur. This technology brings new information about bone structure for a more accurate diagnosis and an adapted treatment. This feature is only avaible on the DMS range.

To ensure excellent measurement accuracy, it performs an automatic quality control with internal system reporting, before each test and is self-adjusting to the required parameters, without any intervention of the operator.
Provides the possibility of correction in case of incorrect concentration, without moving the patient.
It has an auxiliary beam of visible spectrum (laserbeam), for the best identification of the area of interest and placement of the examinees.
It has the option "intelli-scan", during which the scanning range near the bone is limited, resulting in further reduction of the test time.

The parameters of the measurement results are expressed in relation to the approved NHANES III database and include:

BMD (Bone Mineral Density) - Bone Density Units.
BMC (Bone Mineral Content) - Bone Marrow Units.
Z score (Arithmetic, Graphics and Percentages) - Constant deviations from the average healthy people of the same sex and age.
T score (Arithmetic, Graphics and Percentages) - Constant deviations from the average healthy young people of the same sex.
Average - Average value of bone density of the examined lumbar vertebrae.
